Professor Jenni MacDonald and Professor David Gray have been appointed to a share a newly created role of Executive Nurse Director, effective October 2023.
David Gray moves from the role of Managing Partner and remains on the Board and Jenni MacDonald moves from Director of Nursing and now joins the Board in the new role at Pioneer WHLC.
Prof Gray commented “With the growth of our NHS Services and our significant increase in staff over the last two years there was a need for us to re-evaluate the structure of our Board and to ensure we have effective clinical leadership. By having a joint appointment, we can now ensure we have enough capacity to support our existing operations and are well positioned for future growth in 2024. Over the last two months we have been able to recognise the benefit this new joint role will bring the organisation”.
Prof MacDonald commented “This is an exciting time for Pioneer as we move into the next stage of organisational growth. Pioneer has provided me with a platform to deliver innovation and bring clinical practice into new levels of expertise. We will continue to provide a platform for colleagues to push the boundaries and improve patients’ lives”
